11th International Motorcycle Conference 2016
3rd –4th October 2016 Cologne
The 11th International Motorcycle Conference took place under the headline ‘Safety – Environment – Future’, covering all aspects related to motorized two wheelers.
The ifz-Conference took place prior to the International Motorcycle, Scooter and Bicycle exhibition INTERMOT Köln and was as usual organized in co-operation with the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) from the USA. With contributions from specialists from all over the world regarding the situation of motorized two wheelers the status of current safety research and the comparison of legal conditions was internationally considered.
For scientists, researchers and practitioners from numerous nations this unique meeting offered the ability to analyze and discuss the results of the latest safety research.
The contributions of the conference are available on CD in our Shop as volume 17 of the publication series “Forschungshefte Zweiradsicherheit” (proceeding No. 17) of the ifz.
Cooperation partners of the conference were the Industrie-Verband Motorrad Deutschland e.V. (IVM) and KölnMesse GmbH.
